1940s Walnut Pull Out Cocktail Cabinet

We promptly bought this stunning piece when it came up for sale because we knew it was truly special. We advertised this exceptional item as a restoration piece available for commission. It was snapped up very quickly, and we completely understand why.

It features a particularly large central pull-out bar section that slides open with remarkable perfection, and it came complete with all the original mirrors that enhance its charm. A very rare find indeed! The walnut veneer was exquisite, but sadly hidden beneath layers of dull, old, darkened varnish. It even surprised us how incredibly beautiful the grain was once we had carefully removed the old varnish and revealed the magnificent wood grain underneath.

Following a full and meticulous restoration process, we couldn’t be prouder of the finished product. This elegant cocktail cabinet now gracefully resides in Essex, alongside two other unique pieces from our carefully curated portfolio.
